Civil Engineering | Saving the Bridge & Marine Infrastructure
http://jetfiltersystem.com | Civil Engineering | Backed by civil engineers, marine contractors, project managers, government and state officials. A lack of erosion control is a vital issue among a retaining wall design. One common problem is wall movement in addition to tieback/whaler tension, toe failure, horizontal cracking, panel separation and stress. This video will show some examples to prevent this problem and to save the bridge and marine infrastructure from failing.

The standard JET Filter System comes equipped with the highly rated TenCate Mirafi FW 300 series. This proven application provides long-term flow rates in dynamic and high gradient conditions. To ensure proper drainage relief, one of the key components to our JET Filter System is a removable inner filter cartridge that can be replaced or cleaned when needed. This simple step can be accomplished from the front side of the earth retaining wall structure without removing material behind the wall to replace the erosion control fabric.

To save time and money on major extensive repairs the JET Filter System is a quick and easy way to install that would prevent the bridge and marine infrastructure failure by relieving water pressure and allowing the proper drainage.

The life expectancy of an earth retaining structure can be increased simply by adding sufficient drainage. Dry soil may provide little stress on a retaining wall, however heavy soil without proper infrastructure wall drainage may cause the wall to buckle or lean. This could mean extensive and expensive repairs will be required. No drainage system can handle a total flood, but a properly installed "retaining wall drainage" system can prevent most water damage.

Civil engineers and designers know how important it is to keep retaining walls from leaning or cracking from hydrostatic water pressure, it is important to install the Jet Filter System to release this water pressure and by not allowing any loss of soil material within the structure.

Proper maintenance and inspections can also avoid major disasters. Water without drainage may weaken retaining walls by eroding the material that supports the wall. Furthermore, poor drainage may cause considerable challenges by settling behind the wall and saturating the soil with incredible pressure. Well-built earth retaining walls are built with integrity and our Jet Filter System is designed to provide water pressure relief without losing our valuable soils from within the civil engineering designed wall.

Are your retaining wall structures failing because of clogged drainage or perhaps insufficient weep holes? Retaining walls such as vinyl sheet piling, steel sheet piling, concrete seawalls, wing walls and bridge abutments are a concern today and may require immediate inspection or replacement.
